New Years Day Ramble!

Come and join us for a short walk around the Heritage Trail at Willsbridge Mill. We will meet in the visitors car park on Long Beach Road, Longwell Green at 1.30pm.

There are brown signs to follow from the Avon Ring Road. The trail is only half a mile long and suitable for pushchairs.

To quote Bradley:

“The children can enjoy such wonders as the Sciurus carolinensis (grey squirrel), the Columba palumbus (wood pigeon) and the Turdus merula (blackbird). As well as these European treasure’s there are plenty of different shaped sticks, different coloured water and various different small stones lying about.”

Dec 11

Our Christmas service is fast-approaching – 21st December at 6pm – to be precise! Flyers are available. Let me encourage you to invite your friends, neighbours and family – all are welcome!

The evening is going to run slightly differently to previous years and will reflect a “more normal” service, but with Christmas carols and worship songs, and a message exploring the great mystery of God become man.

To get into the swing of things, can I suggest you follow the following links to get hold of the music we will be singing that night. Given that they are songs we don’t sing often, it would be good to familiarise yourself with them BEFORE the night!!
